Sheridan portfolio

I thought I'd post some of the things that were in the portfolio I made for Sheridan. It is all very basic, but I learned a lot from them, so I don't consider it a waste at all - although I would have redone almost everything if given more time!

My perspective and life drawings were the main cause as to why my score suffered. I'm currently waitlisted, so I will be anticipating a final decision (hopefully soon).

Animal gesture

Not sure if this is how to properly draw gesture.
But it was very relaxing and fun; I could probably do this for hours on end.
I used this Gesture Drawing Tool set to 60~120 seconds, all live animals.

Admittedly I had to use the eraser on a few faces because they were so incorrect!

Lazy efforts

Working on portfolios is kind of a downer, because then it really hits hard, how much one lacks. Mine is unbearably simple and unimaginative, as I went completely and only by what was stated and didn't think about adding in some creative thought or pushing the rules a little.

Anyways. I just wanted to take a break and clear up my computer some.

doodles from last year

photo-reffed notes from back when I was slowly studying features for semi-realism

random doodle from January.

I haven't been putting much thought into learning or practicing lately; it is pretty evident in my drawings. I get frustrated easily and then lose effort, so the outcome is poor. How aggravating!
Though, I guess there isn't much else to do except keep working.
